access to our commercial kitchen
When you become a member with us you have exclusive use of our commercial kitchens and all equipment/ kitchenware for the duration of your booking. You will also be able to use our address for the food business application.
free council inspection kit
When you become a member with us you will receive a council inpection kit, this kit includes step-by-step guide on how to fill in your application, templates, answers to common questions at the inspection and extra information on how to easily pass the inspection.
GET STARTED
To get started just follow our simple steps to become a member with us and to get your food business license:
1. REGISTER WITH US
The first step is to register with us as a member, it should only take a couple of minutes to fill in our registration form. Please note you must have your membership approved before using our address in the Food Business License Application form or before we can provide any assistance on getting your licenses.
2. PAY THE ADMIN FEE
Once registration is submitted, you will receive an email with a copy of the Kitchen Agreement Form and details on how to pay your one-off admin fee of $200+GST. Please note: email may take up to 48 hours to receive, please contact us if you have not received the email or you would like an urgent booking.
3. RECEIVE OUR WELCOME EMAIL
Once Admin fee has been paid and a signed copy of the Kitchen Agreement Form received, your registration will be approved and you will receive a welcome email with your unique access pin code, your council inspection kit and information on how to obtain your license plus our Kitchen Policy Handbook.
4. CONTACT COUNCIL
If you are starting a new food business you may need to obtain several food licences depending on the type of food business, please visit your Local Council website for information on what licences you need and the requirements you must comply with before selling your products. For Brisbane City Council please call their business hotline on 133263. If you do need to apply for a food business license, once your membership is approved you can use our address for the application. You will then be able to also book the council inspection in our kitchen to obtain the license (please call us before booking the inspection to check kitchen availability)
5. BOOK YOUR SPOT!
Now that you are a member you will be able to make your bookings and start making your dreams a reality!
To make your bookings you can rather log into the member's area and make an online booking (casual bookings only) or you can send us an email with your desired booking dates and times and we can create the bookings for you. We can also help with booking pantry, fridge or freezer storage.
